This product is eligible for our complimentary made to measure service* - NYC fit appointments also available until October 3rd.
Both pieces can be worn alone, or ensemble for the full 'fetish nun' look as featured in the Met show.
Comprising of the semi-fitted Spray dress and Florence hood, this look is the only look in the Met exhibition still available for purchase directly from the designer.
The Spray dress is slimline to the ankle, with an elongated back vent split.
Featuring one of our signature collection capped sleeves, as seen on the Corto jacket, the unique “stand away” construction gives the shoulder line a very sculptural “floating” aspect. Fitted at the waist, with a bonded pale beige flared peplum, making this otherwise strong and sharp tailored dress slightly softer in aspect. To close there is a centre back exposed zip.
Fabricated here in black heavy wool crepe with a beige cotton technical blend bonded peplum, and a cream wool capped sleeve.
The dress is topped with the Florence hood – a curious mix between a hat and a piece of body wear, reminiscent of a nun's habit. Named as such because of Florence Nightingale, this piece is double bonded to give it rigidity, and is also fully reversible.
Florence slips over the head and is kept in place by the waistband that zips up through the back.
Fabricated in a bonded black and cream technical cotton blend, with rubber finishing.
