MET Museum "HEAVENLY BODIES" Beige and Black Wool "Spray" Dress

 This tailored dress is semi-fitted and slimline to the ankle, with an elongated back vent split.

 Featuring one of our signature collection capped sleeves, as seen on the Corto jacket, the unique “stand away” construction gives the shoulder line a very sculptural “floating” aspect.

Fitted at the waist, with a bonded pale beige flared peplum, making this otherwise strong and sharp tailored dress slightly softer in aspect.

To close there is a centre back zip.

Fabricated here in black heavy wool crepe with a beige cotton technical blend bonded peplum, and a cream wool capped sleeve.

This item was also featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's blockbuster gala exhibition in 2018, Heavenly Bodies, shown alongside the Florence hood and shoes for the full show look.
